Where do Internet Insurance Leads Come From?

A lot of insurance agents want to know where interent insurance leads originate. They know that companies offer to sell them contact information for people who have requested more information about various kinds of insurance over the internet. The forms include names, phone numbers, emails, etc., and a request for car insurance, homeowners insurance, life insurance, and others.
Well many of these leads are generated by independant website owners or the leads companies themselves. They attract prospects with internet sites about particular types on insuance or financial matters. The sites may be promoted with paid advertising or regular search engine traffic. A website surfer will arrive at the site, perhaps to read some informative article, and then decide to fill out the quote form.
Now not every one of the surfers will end up buying insurance, and even if they do, they won’t all end up buying it through the quote form. However it is a great way to get contact information for interested prospects.
